Food Safety and Quality Policy Statement


Tempo Flexible Packaging is committed to manufacturing and delivering products and services of the
highest quality that meet customer requirements, applicable food safety and quality standards, and all
relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, within a culture of continual improvement.


To achieve this:

  • Tempo is committed to satisfying all applicable food safety requirements, statutory and
    regulatory requirements, and all customer requirements (including quality, delivery, and
    specification requirements). Tempo will mutually agree upon customer requirements before production begins.
  • Tempo is committed to, and maintains a food safety policy which is appropriate to the purpose
    and context of the organization,
  • Tempo will provide a framework for setting and reviewing the objectives of the Food Safety and
    Quality Management Systems.
  • The Integrated Management System (IMS) will be maintained, documented, understood, and
    communicated to all levels within the organization and communicated externally to all relevant
    interested parties as appropriate.
  • Tempo Flexible Packaging is committed to reviewing, updating, and making continuous
    improvements to the Food Safety Management and Quality Systems.
  • Tempo Flexible Packaging will address the needs to ensure competencies related to the
    Integrated Management System (IMS) by training its employees at hire, providing annual
    refresher training, and promoting a positive culture of food safety and quality awareness.
  • Tempo employees are accountable for food safety and have the responsibility to report any
    food safety issues, provide suggestions or feedback.


Tempo Flexible Packaging’s COO & CEO have appointed a Food Safety Team Leader and an IMS
Coordinator. The Food Safety Team Leader is responsible for maintaining and updating all aspects of the
food safety program, ensuring training is provided, and ensuring compliance to the FSSC 22000
standard. The IMS Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and continual
improvement of the Quality Management System and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001:2015.
